Rodkey Craighead, Jr.

Rodkey Craighead, Jr. is the father of four, who received his JD Degree from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly known as Franklin Pierce Law Center) in 1979, and his B.A. Degree from Valparaiso University in 1971. He is an honorably discharged veteran. Attorney Craighead’s professional associations include the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL); New Hampshire Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NHACDL); New Hampshire Association for Justice (NHAJ); Member of the New Hampshire Bar Association and Manchester Bar Association; admitted to practice in all New Hampshire State Courts, United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, Boston, Massachusetts.

Attorney Craighead’s focus is primarily in the area of criminal defense (felony and misdemeanor), motor vehicle offenses, D.W.I. defense, forfeiture actions as well as civil and divorce litigation.

 

Joanne Craighead

Joanne Craighead is a native born New Hampshire resident. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Notre Dame College in 1983 and her Juris Doctor
Degree from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly known as Franklin Pierce Law Center) in 1986. In 1992 she and her husband opened the
law firm “Craighead and Martin”. Her professional memberships include the NH Bar Association, the Manchester Bar Association, the Hillsborough County Women’s Bar Association, the Collaborative Law Alliance and the International Academy of Collaborative Law Alliance of New Hampshire as well as the Franco-American Society.

Attorney Craighead’s public service work includes past membership on the Pamphlets subcommittee and the Law Week subcommittee of the NH Bar Association
and The United States Commission on Civil Rights. She has been an incorporator of the Franco-American Centre for the last five years and she also volunteers for numerous events with the PTO at her sons’ elementary and middle schools. Attorney Craighead’s practice includes divorce, real estate, probate, estate
planning and business organization.

 

Debbie Martin-Demers

Debbie Martin-Demers joined her sister, Joanne Craighead and brother-in-law in the practice of law as a member of the firm in September of 1998. She received her undergraduate B.A. degree in Political Science at the University of New Hampshire in 1994 and her Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1998. Attorney Martin-Demers primarily handles family law matters including divorce, post-divorce, parenting petitions (formerly known as custody petitions), child support matters and domestic violence petitions. She also serves as legal counsel for the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters since joining the firm. Prior to attending law school, Attorney Martin-Demers served as a victim advocate with Americorps in the Nashua, Milford and Merrimack District Courts assisting individuals with Domestic Violence Petitions.


Attorney Martin-Demers is currently a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Manchester Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association and
International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and the Collaborative Law Alliance of New Hampshire. She is also the author of the New Hampshire Association of Broadcaster’s Legal Guide which has been published by the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters.
